im jack, from kellyville NSW

im hopefully buying a new CJ11 lancer es in lightning blue in the next week or so :)

btw does anyone know how to get the cheapest insurance for a p plater (reds)?

Many places have online quoting things...
I'm with Just Car (green P's). I was with RAC, but after an accident (that wasn't my fault) they increased my premium. Just Car said it didn't matter to them so I moved.

I don't know who is the cheapest anymore but at the time Just Car was a good option... They have a lot of younger customers I think.

Hey Jack, welcome to the club!

Insurance will never be cheap for new P platers. If you can, get your parents to sign as the primary driver and you as the secondary. Depending on their record, it won't be too much then and you can just pay them back.

This made no difference with me.
We thought it did, but it turned out RAC just made a mistake on our fees and we were paying less than we should the entire time I had my first car :P

Now, my CJ has mum as the primary and it still makes no difference (she even technically owns the car and even that did nothing) but maybe other companies are more gullible. :twisted:
