evo bonnet on an es

Postby GT » Sat Sep 13, 2014 9:00 pm

Can it be done? Will it fixed without modifying?

And would it look stupid? A few people have said it Will look fake and we'll there right but I can afford a real evo and I just love the look of the bonnet !!

RA & Evo bonnets are the same; I wouldn't do it, but if you like the look, go for it - it's your car! :-)

A genuine RA bonnet is going to be hard to find - keep scouring eBay and GumTree...

You can get a fibreglass copy, but the genuine Mitzi one is better!

What, you mean the exact same front bar that is on the latest ES? or the Activ?

I have had a look online there are a few available. There pretty expensive even for the ebay non genuine ones...

Not sure if it's worth the $$$ I can just imagine that most people who know the difference Will mock it lol.. I have only had the car around a month or so and I have been asked sooo many times how fast or what year model is your "evo". I have never corrected them... also had this chick say I think your WRX is hot...just smiled and keep filling it up.

I would love to do this some day, still pissed I missed out on a VRX with a genuine RA bonnet and twin exhaust by a mater of hours.

Just do it, who cares what people think. It's made to fit the car so why would it look stupid?

Yeah, you get the looks of a RA without the added running costs or insurance :)

Anything that gets some decent weight out of the Lancer is a good thing - they really DO go harder when lighter.
