Appreciate the tips bumblebee, but it sounds like more hassle than it's worth. I'll just keep running a $15 cheapie from eBay which does okay, but I'll be rely on shoulder checks as well

Ironically I damaged my bumper last year because I relied on the mirrors and didn't see a post dead centre of the car.
That's why I'd love the OEM one, at least 2' higher than an aftermarket one.
Yep - reversed into an AC unit (I think) that was just high enough from the ground to nick my boot.
I got three options:
1. Change the boot completely to the more recent model with the stock reverse camera.
2. Repair the dent, paint it.
3. Cover it with a duck bill spoiler. However I plan on installing a custom spoiler soon and to have two spoilers would look silly I think.
Still weighing it all up.
