I am just wondering when general site performance is going to be fixed?
I have noticed a general trend since Pete lost his access to the backend that it has gone downhill.
Also just wondering what is happening with competitions? Premium members spend quite a lot in comparison to the other forums I am a Premium member of. I paid $20 for one of the XR5 forums, received 2 stickers and a really nice metal keyring.
I know I no longer own a CJ, but I am seeing a trend that the quality of this site is going down hill.
Most people move on after they get rid of their car, but I have met so many friends thru here I like to hang around, but it is becoming frustrating. I put more than just my lifetime membership into this forum, it saddens me to see where it is going....

IF we could afford to give out Evos for prizes, I suspect we'd be charging more than A$40 for membership
On another front, I've watched this with interest. Seems great having a go at Matt about the last ROTM, whatever our conclusions and his behaviour since, I don't think looking at the past is going to help.
If all of you enjoy looking at the past so much, might I point out that Matt doesn't take criticism very well.
He'll disappear for longer periods and remove more privileges from other admins or ban someone as a result.
So just say what you have to say but leave matt out of the point.
Don't fault it onto him. Say what you dislike and don't tie it to him.
I suspect if you just don't mention nor blame him, the site may well be more responsive and see more features implemented.
I'll put my 2 cents across as well:
1. I've noted that the site has been pretty sluggish in the last week. I'd like to see some improvement to this please.
2. I'd really like to see the ruling against imageshack and other picture hosting sites removed please. It is a great inconvenience sometimes sharing pictures.

I guess the gripe is that features etc get added to the site... That time could be better spent fixing the lag issues etc.
I would personally like to see someone else with access. There is a huge single point of failure at the moment.
This site is for the people. I for one appreciate the site being founded, but someone else needs to be able to take the reins should the need arise.
If Pete had access again, it could take some load off Matt, as 1 person having to do all the back end work is a big ask. I am not trying to be difficult, I am thinking of people's lives out of the club. No one should have to bear all the load.....
