Hi guys - anyone know where to get this mitsubishi light for the front grille badge - looks pretty cool http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2VZzURCMxQ&NR=1&feature=endscreen

Also do you know if its legal to drive with it lit - I assume cos its a white light it may be ok.

On a related topic was thinking of putting some blue LED in the void behind the front grille (I see Ofey has done this) is it legal to drive with that? Im guessing not but wondered if anyone knew - thanks in advance

Ofey got them off a Russian website, There are a cheaper Chinese version but I know people who had them and the clear discolored and LEDs blew. Zedd82 (Andrew) drives around with his on.

As Speedie said I drive around with mine connected to my parker light. So far I haven't had any issues with the police, but I'm sure if I came across a cop having a bad day it might be a different story.
Mine is the Russian one, they are quite expensive, but the quality is there

i dont know about the logo but i can help with the grille, i have LEDs all around the underneith of mine, i also have DLR just above my fog lights as well as LEDs in my grille.

I have these hard wired into the line that controls the intrior light, so they come on when i unlock the car, when the car door is opened, but turn off when i lock the car or when the car is moving.

If you want more info PM me and i can show you easiest way to wire up and where to place the wires.

I have grille neons but never used them because they were just on a switch and I don't wanna get in trouble

hmm I like it Ben - your car looks great - nice and clean styling too - the Mitsu LED badge in the grille would look pretty cool on yours also I think.

I have grille lights similar to those, although mine can change color and they run off an IR remote.

@chopa yeah i waned the ones that run off the remote with the colour change but i saw the price for how much i would need and i was like nahhhh lol, i used almost 8 meters doing mine and that in colour would have been hundreds haha this was $30 from ebay haha.

@dire, its real easy to wire them up like mine i might make a tutorial as i have seen this float around on other topics that people want stuff like this.

@Rusty, Yeah she is coming along nicely, but i have no want for LED badge i took my chrome badge off and painted it true mitsi red love that car! As for yours if you do want to go the grille LED i recommend 5050SMD LEDs as anything less just doesnt have the light projection to look decent.

Actually, mine came as a 5 meter strip from Melbourne... $30 including postage, delivered within 3 days!
