Motion Tail lights.

Postby awood » Sun Jul 25, 2021 8:06 pm

Hey lads , check out the Aussie lad , Juzzie Evo X , youtube channel.
He fits VERY cool Motion branded tail lights but I can't seem to find where he purchased them from?
Any of you far smarter 'puter literate peeps savvy enough to point me in the right direction of where to buy them?

seeing as these are coming out of china, i would guess they would not be ADR approved for use down under.

looks bloody good though!

I’ve often wondered what you do with aftermarket lights when they stop working.Must really suck to bin $500 worth of lights.

Obviously people have way more $$ then sense so I doubt that thought would even enter their minds
Just go buy more cos they can
Just cos you have lots of $$ in the bank doesn't mean you have any common sense to go with it
Like the old saying goes
Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional

Idk I brought my lights for 300$ it's not that much. And they work fine. Only thing is I get static on my radio on some channels. But very small price to pay, once I get the radio install done it will likely help with that issue.

LEDS if they aren't really cheap generally last longer then halogens I think we all know this. If I am replacing my lights by the end of this year I'll eat my words but they work great and look great.

Static on the radio cos the lights are not CANBUS comparable
Shame the whole car runs on multiple computers and CANBUS

Would have been nice is Mitsubishi had updated the lights at some point, I like these but not paying $550 when others can be had for way less and are ADR approved.

if mitsubishi made the lights more pretty, then it cuts into their profit margin

also
heres a fun fact
in the etacs box of my 2012 you can set what year it is, and guess what year it goes to?
the final year the lancer was sold
mitsubishi already had their mind made up way back then what year they want to kill the lancer/evo off

Wow, kinda interesting that. All their press releases seemed to make it sound like they'd only decided the year before, but I guess after 100 or so years of making cars companies get good at making sales projections.
