Reverse parking sensor wiring

Postby chunky9 » Fri Mar 15, 2013 1:15 pm

Hey guys,
Are these the factory reverse sensors?

I need the all the wiring parts to it. I know that the factory ones are plug and play into the reverse light harness.
If they are the factory oes, would the easiest way be to just buy a whole new set and use those wires? Or is there's somewhere I can actually just buy the wiring from?

Thanks guys

Well nuts. I think I'll just keep the parking sensors there as placeholders for now. Don't want to be splicing up wires just yet. Cars not even 1 year old lol.
Thanks for the help guys. Appreciate it.

i didnt install them jessica, mitsu did, so i`not sure how hard they are wiring wise, u do have to drill 4 holes in the rear guard though for the pictured sensors.

as for price, i`m not sure, i hadnt thought about it till i saw this thread.

i`f your keen pm me and we`ll work one out :)

I am planning to buy kit of 4 parking sensors and control unit, Could anyone guide for a good brand available on Ebay??

I checked local market(Qatar) and found one called DIAMOND parking sensors($82 including installation), the shop keeper said its good. There was another around $54(unbranded)which he said was not that good

Smartpark is a solid brand I've installed a lot of these for individuals and on company fleet vehicles including mines and government. Never had an issue with them and they can look OEM.

As Jay aka Swerve mentioned .... Smart Park are the best money can buy here in Australia.

They have Solid State circuitry & every component in their kits are premium parts.

I've personally installed 7 kits for family and never had a problem.

Here is a link to post I did back in April 2010 (5yrs ago)
REVERSE PARKING SENSORS

The model in the post is a PDC-120PI, but it has since been refined and upgraded to the current model PDC-125PI

You can ring ZORG Industries in Sydney, who are the Manufacturer on (02) 9439 9439 and buy direct of them.
The last kit I purchased 3mths ago was approx $160 + $10 P&H in Sydney.

OH crap .... *eek* .... your right Jay .... I didn't see his location.
I don't think they will post Qatar.

Anyway, it's good info for our club members.
