Hey Guys,

I couldn't find a thread about this so I just started one.
Just wondering who else out there is a keen photographer?
I love to shoot landscapes but have just recently started shoot cars.
I'm hoping to start a photo, and technique tread for us photographers out there.
So lets start sharing!

Mad keen :) Just picked up a new lens last night, 35mm f1.8, will have to give it a crack soon - thinking some sneaky looking night time shots.

Here are some of my efforts, I just shoot my own car.

Nice work, love the rolling shots, are they taken on a car rig?
I need to get out and take some of my car, I haven't even taken one shot of my car.. Been to busy shooting other things.

Yeah, been meaning to throw up a thread on how I made my rig - some of the Brisbane folks have seen it, but it still needs some work to make it a bit better.

I'm a keen photographer my favourite subject being cars 😀 I'm about to undertake a degree in photography as it's been a long time since I owned a SLR, loving digital and just brought a nice Nikon d5200, telephoto lens, tripod and backpack. I really want a wide angle lens!

I will post some links up of the shoots I've done when I get home.

I use a samyang 14mm for a wide angle lens, I have only used it for my landscapes, not sure how it would work with automotive photos.

I love photography! I actually moved to Adelaide to study photography years ago but didn't get accepted into the course :( failed the English and science test part of the application.
However I'm anti digital. I have a couple old school 35ml SLRs that would be about the same age as me that I use. I don't go out taking photos anywhere near as much as I used to. But keep looking at my camera and thinking I need to get back into it. I feel I have way more control of the photo and camera using film over dig. I mainly do black and white as i love going into a dark room and developing my own prints :)
