**Official Stance Thread**

Postby PYLee » Sat Oct 22, 2011 9:23 am

Morning ladies and gents,

I'm making this thread so that all you guys out there with aftermarket wheel and/or aftermarket suspension could post up the details of it (ie size width offset of wheels and what suspension with height settings and alignment settings). This way , it will help provide a great reference to anyone that is out there with questions, trying to figure out how their car will look with a particular size.

Feel free to post up other people (quoting them with their username and which forum)'s setup with the available information.

I'll start by posting my current setup.

Wheels : Volk Racing TE37 Super Lap
Size : 18x9.5 +22 offset
Tyres : Hankook Ventus V12 265/35/18
Suspension : Stock
Alignment : Stock
Comments : 18x9.5 +22 is a great size for an overall look , nothing over the top yet flush. If i were to get another set , it will definitely be a set of 18x10.5 +22 or +18 for more hellaflush setup :)

Cheers guys

Wheels : Volk Racing CE28n
Size : 18x9.5 +28 offset
Tyres : Sivlerstone Evo8 245/40/18
Suspension : Racing logic coliovers -
Alignment : - 2 camber
Comments : i love the look of these rims, maybe a touch too aggressive, but i made my car fit the rims - rears are flared 12-15mm - if i had my time again, may have looked at 18x9 +36 super flush without the need for flaring / repainting. would i really change it though? not on your life *cool* thinking of going 265 35 with the next tyres, so will need to work the fronts

235 and pre-defect (now it's 15mm higher)
Image

245 and normal ride height (although it's a touch compressed / lower than normal due to the slight turn)

Wheels : Privat Kontakt
Size : 18x8.5 +35mm ET
Tyres : Toyo Proxes4 235/40/18
Suspension : Stock
Alignment : Stock

Comments: Car looks more aggressive with the fatter tyres from the back & because they sit outside the guards. Car will need to be lower to give it a better stance though. Also, will need to roll the guards, have noticed with passengers in the back, or going over potholes too fast, back will rub/hit.

Size : 18x9.5 +15 offset
Tyres : Toyo Proxies 4 245/40/18
Suspension : tein springs soon to be BC's
Alignment : f: -2 R -1.5
Comments : could do with a bit more low and bit more guard roll so i can fit fatter tires.

sorry, missed the q - there was a bit of work getting it to fit - the rears were pulled to fit the 235 / 245. fronts didn't require any work up to 245. i've ordered 255 35 and will need to roll the front to fit a bit better (265 was a bridge too far)

Wheels: Evo X BBS RS GT
Size: 18x8.5 38mm Offset
Tires: Carbon Series CS88 235/40/18
Suspension: Pedders lowering springs
Alignment: Uhhh....

Comments: Fitted to my ES Lancer. Perfect fitment on the front and rear gaurds. Need to roll rear guards to stop rubbing. Need maybe a 5mm spacer for the rear and some negative camber to get the stance im looking for but sits nice and flush for the moment :)

That's the same set-up i'm going for.
Did you need to roll the guards at all Sam? How do you find the Falken FK452's?
