ITEM: RPW 4-1 Street extractors

LOCATION: Melbourne, Victoria (Templestowe).

ITEM CONDITION: Used, shows signs of wear/corrosion. Had been painted with high temp charcoal paint that is chipping/flaking in parts.

REASON FOR SELLING: Removed from car as no longer wanted.

PRICE AND PAYMENT CONDITIONS: No price listed as I'll accept offers + p and h, willing to let go for cheap.

SHIPPING AND POSTAL ARRANGEMENTS: Will send via parcel post to anywhere in Australia.

EXTRA INFO: RPW website for extractors
Even though sold to fit 4B10 or 4B11 engines it is most likely suited to 4B12 engines as the central support flange is the same as found on the stock exhaust manifold of the 4B12 not the 4B11-10 (Clamshell). Best suited for manual cars and power production at mid to high range.

Just want to re-visit this thread as initial interest seems to have subsided.

I will now set the price to $100 which will include postage to anywhere in Australia.

Anyone who had previously contacted me will have priority if they decide to purchase.

Dropping the asking price to $80 including postage, this is my final offer.

Postage will be around $30 making the cost of the extractors only $50! A good price to experiment if they work for you.

Please contact me via PM if interested.

I have the same ones on my lancer i bought new from RPW in perth. I wrapped mine in thermal heat wrap before putting it on the car. These plus a Merlin tune and its a whole new car to drive. The price that Moonman has these at is a give away. If you have been thinking about extractors then buy these you won't be disappointed

Am I wrong? 4-1 extractors I understand are more suited to track rather then day to day driving. Power rather then torque.

It's a little more complicated than just format. Things like length and diameter of pipes need to be taken into consideration. A 4-2-1 is no good if the joins don't respect the firing order and assist exhaust scavenging. Likewise a 4-1 system with large diameter and short pipes will also not scavenge as well.

These ones I'm selling (close to being sold) are designed (according to sellers website) to be street usable, smaller diameter and shorter pipes than a track focused set.

They will however be better suited (power and torque) to higher RPM than a stock setup, something better handled by manual than CVT.
