Volvo S60.....AWD, Turbo, 224kw and 440nm of torque. Costs the same as an MR.

Add: Or an S80....... 3L turbo. Just as nice!!!

This is a cool thread, should have done it ages ago :)

Still if anyone is interested in the EVO please give me a call otherwise i'm just going to trade it.

And yes, i'm buying a Golf R, not as fast as the EVO and doesn't handle as well but you can never get a chance to drive it hard these days so i'm going for something with a bit more luxury, i'm getting a lot of options :)

This is still a great forum and i hope you will let me stick around.

Still gotta sort some stuff out yet so i may not get it but so far it's looking good. The EVO is an awesome car but i prefer to be out on the R1 so the car stays at home, seems a waste so i want something that has some flashy stuff on it for day to day driving.

Are you going with the DSG transmission or a proper manual this time???

Posted: Sun Apr 10, 2011 9:31 pm

DSG, i love my manuals but the DSG is just too good, works much better in the Golf R, much more user friendly than the TC-SST, doesn't have that massive dead spot off the line

Cool, good luck with the sale mate. I think alot of people will come to the conclusion that when they sell their lancer, they will never buy another one. Too many other choices that can trump them.

Maybe, it's all about lifestyle, right now i don't need that sort of car, when i need a speed fix i take the R1 out :)

This will be the last time I reply on your sale thread as I don't want to clog it up for you..... but I agree with you on the Audi A3. I get to drive a lot of cars for clients of the casino up here and I got to travel around town in a new A3 turbo convertible with twin clutch. The quality, luxury and handling was absolutely brilliant. Would love to get a german car - Merc, Audi or Beamer as my next car. Even a mid spec version is a sheer driving experience. Cheers
