I did this just the other week, pretty much followed the DIY post http://clubcj.net/viewtopic.php?t=521&highlight=badge

Just need to be patient & cut through the tape slowly & angle the fishing line outward away from the surrounding paintwork. Some people put masking tape around the surrounding area to stop any scuff marks might make with your hands.

The chrome badges came off very easy, but the RA boot sticker sits much flatter & requires bit more muscle to be worked off.

Happy to report that I didn't make any new scratches, but gave the boot a quick once over with some polish & looks great now. :)

I used dental floss. Not a mark.

I bought fishing line from the local sports shop for $3 or so for a huge amount (only needed about 1/50th of it). Get a hairdryer and keep moving it back/forth (so it doesn't stay on one spot too long) and then use the fishing wire back and forth to cut through the adhesive. Once done, clean the area.

EDIT: Realised I did pretty much what this guide says! http://clubcj.net/viewtopic.php?p=7157#7157

I didn't have to use a hairdryer. I just left the car parked out in the sun on a hot day and then used a bit of fishing line. Came off nice and easy without leaving any marks.

Thought this would be a convenient bump considering the recent hot weather in Sydney (well not today)!

And considering the large number of people buying lighted logos from Auto-Loker.
