Postby yuj1n » Fri Jul 26, 2013 1:54 pm

this will the colour similar to what I'm going to do.

my question is should i get just a plain black ralliart decal
like the one in this link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0978803025

or should i get one with the text in black and have the stripes in the red/orange colour?

thanks everybody, appreciate all your input.

That's why I chose yellow, first did it to my dark blue CC coupe and now my black CJ. Really stands out with the black wheels.

Are those decals heat resistant?

Soon after painting the CC which has bigger M21 front brakes I went on a cruise around Mount Glorious and was pushing it a bit hard so they got a little hot. They still worked great but the paint I put on the edge of the disc rotor (on the vents) was smoking at one stop.

Point is you can't just put any stickers on the calipers.

The caliper decals i do are all heat resistant...I have some on cars that have been on there for over 5 years and still going strong. I would recommend putting a cclear coat over them as well...just make sure the vinyl is paint resistant as well (mine are) otherwise the paint will melt the vinyl.
