CJ VRX 2.4Litres Front and rear brake pads

Postby Mecanico » Wed Mar 25, 2015 10:57 am

Hi, have done now 74.000Kms and looks like it is time for brake pad change.

Been everywhere I know and no one seems to say anything about a 2.4 Litre engine.

Does anyone knows the correct part numbers for the VRX pads, or they are same for 2.o L engine?

Bendix gave me some part numbers but Tynan Mitsubishi asked me for VIN number and the price is horrendous ( 170 dollars for front set and 135 for the rear ones).
1441 and 1686 are Bendix's. But some people say depends on your vehicle?
Does it means that Mitsubishi would fit different things to VRX's??? and that is why they ask for the VIN number?
Sounds like an atrocious way of not having a standard...............

I have been told they are the same front calipers as Evo4, in which case you should be able to Elig pads from GT Pumps. And Eligs are the best.
