Read your other thread. VRX and Ralliart have different front brakes.

I've been watching out for RA brakes for a while.
Just purchased an upgrade kit from RRM and it is currently on its way should be close to the RA fronts. Inch bigger rotors and bigger pads over the es-vr
More then happy to upload pictures with a tape measure with the old set and new side by side (when bits arrive) see below for direct link, be aware shipping is ~$350us

I've been wanting to get some of their stuff, but their shipping is always around $1000. How did you get it for $350?

Need to shoot RRM an email, the built in web process can't calculate it correctly

Someone suggested that hte calipers are same on one of the SUV type Mitsu's as Ralliart, might be worth checking. Hard to find Ralliart's in wrecking yards or people who've upgraded, but SUV's are everywhere

Yes twin pistons calipers are found on many Mitsubishi vehicles like V6 outlanders(4 cylinder have same as VRX), AWD Magnas and some early model Evos.
The things to look for is bolt hole lugs with spacing of 130mm. Unfortunately the 380 do not fit on Lancers.
I hope that helps.

I never realy understood the 'I'm putting out more power so I need better brakes' idea before... It only makes sense if you're tracking the car.

But oh well, not going to talk you out of a safety improvement :P

I have VRX front brakes on my VR. The differences are only tiny but I wanted to do it anyway.

I think you're making the right choice going to RA/equivalent though. :)
