So get evo X brembos, disc, brake pads and get some braided lines and fit those hubs and ur sweet? I feel like such tool wasting time if this was the case

^ Shane im not sure how hard or easy it is to fit them but from what I have heard the best way to do them is to get the Evo X hubs.

Hope someone with a little more experience can chime in and correct me if im wrong.

Rims to fit is important. As stock Ralliart offset is no good

Here's what I'm running (I have a 2011 Ralliart SB)

Custom Brembo Front (special order through a US company, roughly $1500 for fronts) -- they are roughly the size of stock X (slightly larger) -- Requires EvoX size rims/offset at a minimum, I'm running gloss-black powder coated GSR rims here in the pictures

and Rear OEM EvoX setup (bolt-on for USDM Ralliarts)

Curious now, if it is bolt-on for USDM Ralliarts why not JDM ones?

I need to look into upgrading mine soon.

It probably is. There would maybe just be a small mod required. The rear should mate up easily (there isn't much difference, it's the front that is significantly different)

im in the process of fitting the rear brembo and the holes line up perfectly! But the holes need to be drilled out to fit the brembo bolts which is easy. However, atm it looks like I need mil about 2-3mm off the caliper ear to make it central to the evo x rear rotor but I havent really confirmed that part yet as I havent done a full trial fitment.

Going back to a low cost option per the OP... I did a track day at Sandown in Melbourne on stock brakes and they were gone after 2 hot laps.

On the front I changed to braided lines and EBC Red pads. On the back, I just put on Bendix Enduro, since they don't really do anything.

Replaced the fluid with high temp stuff and just got the standard discs machined.

Just did a Phillip Island track day with that set up and they never faded, even after 3-4 hot laps in a row. Should be plenty sufficient for even a lunatic on public roads. Total cost: under $750.

Jason what is the name of the us company you got the brembo kit from can you provide a link?

Evo brakes have a cast mount which would require an adapter plate, the best option is a post type mount where the calipers have female threads and mount perpendicular to the axle using a 90 degree angled bracket.

I think the brackets can be purchased from Brembo if you can find the part number.

I personally wouldn't be drilling rear brake mounts as you would be seriously weakening the mounting point depending on how much you enlarged the holes.

Damn if they are Legit Wilwood's that is a fantastic deal. I was looking into the MRT kit but if these are Legit they might be the go.
