Sweet :) Thanks! Wow, bigger rotors on rears haha ATW thing i guess :P

Was thinking of going to Greenstuff :)

So 2007-2010 the rotors are the same diameter size ?

Anyone know the rears ? and perhaps the actualy size if the pads ?

Anyone running the RDA Slotted/drilled RDA rotors on a ES/VR?

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/360589734855 ... 1438.l2649

Considering these due to price/brand reputation
Opinions are welcome

& Can anyone shed some info as to what model of pads I should purchase here

It's for a ES with a stock calliper.
After info on both front & rear.

I've finally picked up the parts from GSL Rallysport yesterday. Took 2 weeks of waiting, but I'm glad I did. Even managed to get the front Whiteline Swaybar (BMF56Z) at the same time, when they did their mid year sale.

So I got all the parts ready to be installed. Just no where to install them (lol). So it might be awhile before I even get to do the install. I'll take photo's when I do.

For those thinking of changing their ES/VR ('08-up) brakes and want DBA's and QFM's but want to keep same sizes here's the parts that should fit.

Summary parts list:
Fronts - DBA T2 2201S Rotor, QFM HPX QBD 1441.
Rear - DBA T2 2209S Rotor, QFM HPX QBD 1686.

Bump to old thread, can anyone confirm these discs would be correct fit for 2.4 GSR 2016? The website ‘says so’ but just checking!

The fronts are correct, 2422S but the rears are the smaller ES size (I've got those exact boxes sitting in my room and I changed out the fronts for larger VRX/GSR size). I think you need 2425S for the rears, 302mm diameter. 2209S also goes by 2423S which is 262mm.

Ahhh so much help thanks guys! So I’ll stick to 2422S for my fronts and 2425S for my backs cheers guys! How did you find the bump in performance skrallex? Also which brake pads do you got on atm? I’m looking at bendix but unsure which set to go for !

My rear brakes are pretty much useless atm as the pads are worn unevenly due to being sent the wrong pads, so they don't match the rotors properly. I got Bendix pads as that's what Sparesbox stocks. Performance wise not too sure, I used to get a bit of pull while braking (even with even tyre pressure, etc.) and they have eliminated that, which is mostly what I was after.

Hopefully I can notice some better braking once the proper rear pads arrive and are worn in a bit :)

Hey Reece, I was curious how that worked out on the DBA T2's? I've been using the Bendix HD for years on the lower spec rotors (which have a smooth rotor face) but was thinking of getting T2's (which have slots in the rotor face) for my ride.

I take it the grind in went ok (as this is what the HD's "Blue Titanium Stripe" does) and everything seems well balanced under braking, plus no shudder or uneven rotor grind - especially around the Bi-Symmetrical curve slots...? My concern was that the grind in might grind the slots right off (very unlikely) of foul them up with "weldings" (certainly possible). Does the face of the rotor show any signs of this, or are the slots nice and clean?

Hahah that’s a good thought! I will report back once I got the rotors and pads on here, I would hope it wouldn’t be an issue, since the pads grinding in hopefully doesn’t reach inside the grooves but just the face of the disc, I’m still waiting for my strut bar from them from nearby 2 weeks ago but I guess public holidays has messed that up, so the pads and rotors will come even later :( waiting on so many parts!

Yeah, right. Been away for a bit and didn't catch the dates... 8^d

The slots I mentioned are the ones on the face of the rotors, not the edge. It's what gives them the "T2" designation. Likewise, "T3" rotors have Tri-Symmenrical slots machined into the rotor face. I think you should be right, I was really just curious. In any case, let us all know how it works out...
