Change of plans not upgrading to a ralliart any more

Postby D » Mon Oct 28, 2013 9:46 am

hi, i have previously owned a VRX for the last year or so, it has come to the time where i want something new/more (and i am saving for a house and need some sort of loan/savings history as-well), long story short i have found something that tickles my fancy, however it is located interstate (i am located in SA), and was wondering what would be the best way to proceed, ie if an external authority checks it out or if some one is willing to have a look at it with me/aid me with this decision,
here is the link: http://www.carsales.com.au/private/deta ... 31&sdmvc=1
let me know what you think/ any advise

Hey man that RA looks pretty cool!

Try to get in contact with a Sydney member (particularly in that area if possible) to get them to have a look for you, preferably an RA or an Evo owner as well if possible. :)

Yeah that is partly my issue, I have to apply for an exemption or something or risk it 😜 , I am going to keep my vrx untill January (when i get my fulls), the plan was to get it checked out than fly up there for personal inspection with a family member and drive it back down

Yeah if you could send me a link that would be great, I will be able to afford it on my current salary with the other bills/expenditure, just my house account will not fill up as quick, I was going to wait till I get my fulls but I suppose this one came up with pretty much what I want done(for the time being), and it is newer less km etc, I will get in contact with my bank probably tommorow or over the next few days regarding if there are any fees if I pay it off early, as I plan to pay it off by hopefully next year or so if it goes to plan, I will message Justin once I confirm with my bank etc

Seller lists all frivolous cosmetic mods, but no mention of the aftermarket upper intercooler pipe visible in the photos, plus whatever else inside the engine bay that could've been modded (and is it tuned, or was that modded engine run with stock tune, potentially wrecking the car exacerbating mechanical wear?)

30,000kms in 1 year isn't exactly low kms.
