Bike in the back of a Sportback

Postby -ToM- » Mon Jun 25, 2012 2:09 pm

Just a quick question guys,

Has anyone successfully laid down a Mountain Bike in the back of a sportback?

Need to pick one up and dont have a tow bar/rack.

Cheers
Tom

Reckon you could fit one in a sedan with the seats down haha. Mate reckons I can. I think you should be able to fit one in your sport back. Probably have to remove the front wheel though.

It'll fit. My ex's bike fitted in my boot (sedan) with one wheel removed.

Yeah it will fit. I can fit a road bike in the back of my sedan with the front wheel off.

One of the reasons why I bought my Sportback is to transport Expensive mountain bikes. I can easily fit two mountain bikes in the back of it with the rear seats down.

Hi Mate , i have a 26 inch giant mountian bike that i fit into the back of mine easliy , lay back the rear seats !!! and remove the parcel shelf if you dont have a quick release front wheel and it will go in with pleanty of space to spare :)
