just on my way tou to do some serious hunting. just a question i forgot to ask . how much is too much on the odo for a used car . ive seen people buy cars with over a 100k on it with no issues but then again ive seen brand new cars have more issues than a mental institution

give my current situation where its either new car or a slightly old car with not much on the clock; suggestions for the max i should be looking on my current budget ?

Use the number of years to figure it out.

On average a car should do 15,000km a year.

So if we're in 2012 and say you have a 2009 Aspire on the cards, if reasonably driven, it shouldn't be more than (3 X 15,000) + 7,500 variation = 52,500km
