Sheesh, that's trade price for the Ryco one at Bursons!

I'm in mate, Ryco one.

I have seen both now, and realise that Wesfil one is slightly thinner than the Ryco one. Ryco one is of very much equialent to the OEM one. Only thing is it's not made in Germany.

Perth members--

I just ordered a Ryco one from Malz, will be in next Mon for $24.60.

No one had em in stock, some places like Odin Auto and Repco were far too expensive. $35-37 and Repco said add $20 if it has to come from east coast.

It is a cheap paper element filter that Mitsu has put 2 lines of silicone type glue dragged across the top of the folds.

Hell we could probably replace it with a block of cheap foam, then you could just wash it out on occasion. LOL.

Why don't the WA boys just group buy with the rest of us? I can mail a carton out to you guys? The cost of one Ryco is A$17. I'm sure postage when shared with many of you will bring the price right down?

Whoa!

I just pulled mine out after reading this and I think my car has successfully sucked up 3/4 of the bugs in the NT. Gave it a decent tap out but will be off to Repco or SCA tomorrow to get a Ryco to replace it. Don't care how much they slug me, this thing has got to go!

I'd advise you go for the Ryco one. A thicker filter means more filtering for you Jay :) And I think you will need it :P

Well it appears no-one in Darwin has the Ryco filter in stock but Bursons are getting one sent up and will cost $25.

The only Mitsubishi dealer in town is asking $69 for genuine filter, and if I want it fitted during the 24 month service due next week, which will set me back $450, they'll install it and add .5hrs labour. I'll wait til my Ryco one arrives on Monday and fit it myself I think.

Wow.. I just read this post.. Thanks for the information guys.. I've had a funny smell coming from the aircon when ever I first used it in the day. Will be checking it tomorrow if I dont have work and will definitely get the Ryco RCA182P from Autobarn or Supercheap who ever sells its cheaper, if it's of better quality.
