SERVICE LIGHT - ASC PERMANENTLY OFF

Been experiencing this one for a while now, since the steering rack/rotors upgrade a bit ago.

I know that because it was already present before the coilovers, control arms, and exhaust that I fitted recently as well. So it was either the steering rack or the rotors that did it but I wouldn't be able to tell.

The reset service light does NOT work for this either. I have tried this numerous times on my car it doesn't work. I hit the button once more and it just shows the service again. No clear message. Not sure what is wrong. The car is also NOT throwing codes of any kind (Pending, Permanent & normal) or anything else.

I have looked into this online and it may be due to a sensor malfunction as their are several around steering the car/brakes. Also states it could be because my car is misaligned badly atm that it throws off a steering sensor, but once again this was before I got my car lowered.

I am going to check brake lines and see if anything isnt plugged in where it should be and just anything else you guys might suggest. They also say checking a pump for the ABS..?

Also yes I have discharged the battery completely to reset ECU and it still comes up, I did that with the exhaust so I didn't get a code from that...

Any help outside of these areas I said would be good! Gonna need the Mitsu ASC working again around town.

thanks
Avenir

I would say when the rack was fitted you have done something wrong.Did you remove the steering wheel from the column?
Can we see a photo of the display on the dash please?
Have you had a wheel alignment done since you lowered it?

I'm not sure my father did it in my absence. It's something I'll need to check out.

Yeah when I go up back home I'll get a photo, just says serviced required, with the no ABS light.

No I haven't got it aligned yet, but it was present before changing suspension
