Postby CJVR08 » Sun Jan 24, 2021 4:39 pm

really hope someone can give me some honest information, anybody here who works with paint and body repairs??

I'm going to be restoring this car and I'm hoping it's not too far gone, is it possible for me to use some rust converter or similar or some sand paper first? I'm not professional...

Not made of money either

For the interim get the weatherstripping off hit it with some rust converter and then paint it with some rustproofing paint.Brush on paint is fine and follow the instructions on the rust converter. This should keep it at bay until you can get it properly treated and painted
