Hmm looks like Capped Pricing servicing, exists out there.... for some dealers... like this dealership in Perth - when you open the PDF and right click on document properties, the PDF was put together in Dec. so it's recent.

ineresting....but one of the points under the fine print it reads:

"What is not covered under the Program?
Additional service/maintenance items which are not covered within the Regular Services or the Program
include (but are not limited to):
• Normal wear and tear and consumable items requiring periodic maintenance
(e.g. fuses, brake pads , wiper blades, batteries, tyres, wheel alignment adjustment etc.).

so i take it that's engine oil, brake fluid as well?

for $260 + engine oil, brake fluid etc for my next service i reckon i cant get away for under $400!!!

still cheaper to service the car by a licensed mech me thinks.
If you see a blue lancer in Melbourne and it looks like a VRX, that'll be me!

Oil and Brake fluid would be listed in the servicing log book

I usually front up for book services and leave a note; Customer has changed fluids, filters and plugs.

They only charge for the other checks, ends up very little.

Would they stamp the book without an issue? I'd prefer to do my oil change and give the car for everthing else. I'm not a total car n00b, but not a car nerd either...... so prefer to fill up my car with synth i know that is going to go in my engine and not some apprentice mechanic's boot and leave the rest up to them....
