Changing aircon filter - right flow direction?

Postby 3_Edward_3 » Sat Dec 16, 2017 12:32 pm

Hello all,

I've just installed a new aircon filter (the one behind the glovebox).

The old one, the original (and by the looks of it, it wasn't changed since the manufacturing date!) had the air flow arrow pointing down, aligned with words direction.

The new one, from Ryco, has the air flow pointing up, judging by the words direction.

I still have installed with the arrow pointing down (and so now all the writing is upside down, but it's consistent with the previous air flow arrow) and I wonder whether I did the right thing?

The images I took are too large, so can't attach them here.

Yes that is correct, arrow pointing down from the outside to the blower fan.

The Ryco filters are printed upside down to the Mitsubishi ones but the important part is the arrow.
