NOISY INJECTORS

Postby sarusa » Sun Aug 20, 2017 10:05 am

Should the injectors be able to be heard, distinctively or otherwise, on idle with the hood up? My car is a 2015 ES sport with just 6,000ks on the clock. :?

Yes our cars are known to have noisy injectors.
Always use a good 98 fuel and regularly put a bottle of injector cleaner in the fuel tank which will limit it.

Thanks, yes I always use 98 fuel nothing else has gone into my tank from new.

Will hit it with injector cleaner next time I fill up, have some in the garage somewhere, Nulon which I have used for ages in the past.
Have only covered 6,000ks in 1 and a 1/2 years, mainly driven 3 or 4 times a weak, down to the shopping center, visit friends and relatives or a drive through the country, side which is at my door step.

In retirement every day is Sunday. 8)
