Oil Filter: Z411 / Z436

Postby fastfroggy » Wed Sep 23, 2015 4:42 pm

Hey guys!

Ok, so with my cap-price servicing finally having finished, it is time that I start servicing the girl myself!

I went out today and purchased some oil, filters, plugs, etc, but am a little stumped on the Oil Filter.

I am seeing many a different post saying "Z436" and/or "Z411". The Z436 is a shorter bodied oil filter, but apparently they are interchangeable.

Could anyone here please confirm that there should be no issue between these two? I have the panels off the bottom of the engine, and placing the Z411 (which I purchased) would not foul against anything (the cover will go back on as advertised)

Cheers!

Alby

What car are you driving?

I know the 09 ES is the Z411.

The Z436 is for the RA, the Z411 is for NA Lancers. They probably are interchangeable for the NA's
