Hi guys ,

I dont know how to describe this problem rattle ? shock ? it feels like something hit the underbody .

the sst often rattles , shock especially at low speed. i thought its normal for twin clutch.

but sometimes it rattles ? shock when the car is stopping as well.

do i need to change sst oil ? my car is currently at 33,000km

i decide to take it to the dealership but i worry about the problem not happening in front of the dealer so can not prove the problem.

I want to get some information before i take it to the dealership.

also do i need to pay for the rent car ? even my car is under warranty

they said it took more than 4-5 hours so i think i need to hire the car.

please give me an advice !

Would need a better description of the issue but it could just be the clutch packs getting unloaded that are causing the noise. With SST knock/rattle noise is quite normal on idle.

Otherwise it could be the engine flywheel hub and input shaft splines have too big of a gap causing issues.

is that in 6th gear or all the gears? "normal" or "sport"mode?

Take a video/record the sound so we can hear what you're experiencing.

I'd be taking it to a dealer straight away, especially if you're under warranty.

Often the SST will clunk into first gear slowing down to a stop sign or traffic lights.. it may also do this going from first gear to reverse gear... does make you look like your a bad driver or you have stalled.. which i find annoying - and mine has only done 5,400KM

I think its just clutches/tcu expecting you to change up a gear and you catch it off guard = clunks.

Take it to the dealer and explain them the situation, try to drive the car in sport/manual mode and see if there is any improvement. Normal mode is just not good for our cars.

Depends where you're taking your car, but Knox Mits have always given me a loan car for the day when my car has been up there for warranty work
