Ralliart Suspension noise normal??

Postby impossible » Fri Nov 01, 2013 8:56 pm

Hi there have just brought the car for 2 weeks and i notice there's some noise from the rear left passage seat when i am accelerating and deaccelerating is like something is loosing. i have ask the service manger to look at it but he didnt look at it and said is a heavy duty suspension and i should expect that. as i am not sure whether thats because of the suspension or wot.. i didn't carry anything in the boot therefore i have no idea where the sounds come from...
cheers for helping me out.

What sort of noise does it sound like?

I know I had noise(clunking and other wierd sounds) always with my suspension specially in the left passage and still do it's more pronounced with coilovers now. But there isn't anything wrong with the car from mistu dealer and suspension places.

I noticed a noise from the boot, turns out it was the breaker bar in the spare wheel well moving around.

Theres nothing heavy duty about RA suspension lol. Its pretty typical as far as cars go.

I agree could be something in your boot. If you have a sportback the floor of the boot bounces over bumps and things. Or your jack could be loose, or your tools moving around, or your spare loose.

Suspension noise isn't that unusual, though you could take it to somewhere like Pedders, I think they do a full suspension and brake inspection for $100 or similar.

I've had my ralliart for 2 weeks (brand new) and have heard a knock in the back pass side too, it's strange cause it seems very random probably heard it 3 or 4 times.

Will secure all things in boot.
