I checked the Castrol website and only the 5W grades are fully synthetic; the rest of the Magnatec Pro is just semi.

I use Valvoline Syn power 5w 40 full synthetic since new and cant fault it. Valvoline tests right up there with the best. The worst seems to be the big brands like Shell.Mobil and Castrol. Ive used Torco and Royal Purple in other cars but for the price i cant fault Synpower and it has way outperformed the big brands in independant tests. Some of the big brands can really cause some damage.

Hi everyone, thanks for the support on the engine oil!! - But what about the filter? What is the factory filter that Mitsubishi run?

The OEM filter is part# MD356000, bought one the other day for my service next week.
