They are certainly made out of better material now,I can remember replacing these dashpads under warranty when they were less than a year old.

I had a 76 Celica many years ago (early 90's) and one issue was the dash cracked, but it was 15yo at the time.

Enough said! Evan this is one too many. If it doesn't cary a benefit why take up space? Sorry for this inclusion. :(

Why is it plastics in some older cars (and not so old cars) seem to last longer than others, maybe its just down to how much sun they have had in 20 or 30 years.

Good work, love doing stuff like this, just wish I could have kept my cc coupe to do stuff like this on it!

Kinda miss the days you could bolt spot lights to the bumper of your average family sedan.

I know what you mean Craig,the bracket I have on the front of my Evo was a major engineering project.

Even my CC hand a much better plastic bumper, which allowed one of those number plate brackets. Don't want to try it on the CJ.
