I think we should make that compulsory viewing on this club.

I've seen one or two of the snippets on shows like, road wars, worlds dumbest and similar.

In the context of the vid, and with that Evanesence song over the top, very powerful!

^ Yep I did notice that.

From my driving experiences (In Sydney & on freeway), is that girls in general are worse in traffic, while guys like to drive fast on freeways.

I see a chick running into the back of someone every second day in Sydney, while on the freeway its guys (and girls in barina's) that drive heaps fast.

Fortunately you cant really die in stopped traffic from getting rear ended, unless your like 90 and have a heart attack.

Depends what you get rear ended by and how fast it's going. I use the Semi trailer in the tunnel in the above vid as reference. 1 lane stopped, truck up the back.

that's why we've got speed limit, road signs, and road rules to follow.

i hope everybody who ARE SUPPOSED to be responsible people that's why they got issued with licenses follow them all.. but as we all know that is not happening.

just this weekend drving home to Sydney from Gold Coast it's amazing how many people ridiculously overly exceed the speed limit.. doesn't matter if there were loads of road work popping up the entire way, there was constant heavy rain, and the prospect of double demerits.

I'm amazed by the number of people I see driving faster in the wet.

you even get honked by them for being not "fast enough" for their standards even if you're right on the speed limit, and when you let them pass they even give you a bad look like you did something wrong and not them.. haha!

As already said - powerful stuff. On the same topic here's a link to an English 'texting whilst driving' ad from a year or so ago that also made me sit up, think, and change my habits

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0LCmStIw9E

Again, this is quite graphic - made me cry first time I watched it....

I got this email out of the spam filter at work, and its about a guy who was texting and ran into a truck head on at like 100.

Body chopped in half, arm cutoff and on the rear parcel shelf.

What these adds show us is death, in reality people can be in bits.

I know for 1 I'm going to drive less aggressive on the freeway now, but if you sit at 100 in the right lane GTFO.
