What kind of paint did you use? And did you remove the strut to paint it?

Heat proof brake paint, probably not needed but worth it.

Yes took the strut brace off, really easy just park on a level surface and when off don't move the car, if you need to put the bolts back on and tighten them up. You can run the car without the bar and unless you're racing through a corner you probably won't notice a difference.

Also helps if you have access to a torque bar to tighten them to the specified torque setting. One note the rear bolt is the hardest to get too depending on your tools because of the plastic trim.

But well worth taking off if you have the space to paint it off the car. Less chance of over spray and less masking needed.

$300 for full set (front and rear) springs

$199 for all brake lines

Sits low, but is rigid as anything :)

Thanks for the link. Guess the ones for a 2.4 VRX is about the same price. I'm guessing it's already pretty firm, compared to your stock springs?

You don't know bouncy until you ride in a 15yo light truck, there is a local street I go with my VRX not many bumps, with the truck you're almost thrown out the seats at 50kmh!

Checked my cabin filter, it's filthy. Gave it a vacuum to get rid of the loose dust, will check to see if it's part of the up and coming service.
