I agree with Kyrus to open it up to all members. Members keep doing it anyway, but use different sections of the forum because the forsale section only allows premium to start a thread.
My concern is though it will clog the active topics board on the home page. Why not open it up to all members which makes it easier for moderators to moderate but keep the forsale section off the active topics board?
Not sure if it's possible to be done though, it's just a suggestion.

i dont mind, it`ll certainly ease mods job, like amsterdam, no crimes therefore no perps :)

but we're working on more perks for paid up club supporters atm, we`ll sort out a good balance to make 40 bucks beneficial re advantages, bear with us.

to me being a supporter of the club financially is not to be underestimated :)

dont forget paid members supported the club in the lean years, we cant let that loyalty be ignored

i think it would actually benefit all members, (premium or not) to open up the forsale section

everyone have a channel to sell their stuff meaning more cash for more mods, and people can pick up cool shit which might not come up on sale cos the seller is not premium. in any case, i think a more active forsale section will be beneficial.

granted we want to avoid people signing up just to sell stuff with out any other contribution, we can maybe establish some sort of rules where you need a certain number of post count before being able to sell stuff?

Agreed. Just need a way to ensure they don't post useless stuff just to hit that post limit.

@ El Presidente *yo* Sleeper

One thing that really pisses me off about Members Avatars is the anonymous details.
Sometimes I'd really like to reply to a post by giving some helpful info or support to the members post/ request, only to be dismayed by "who or where" they are *noidea*

For Example:
Name = Unknown *loco*
Location = Unknown or Australia *frusty*

If they don't want to display a christian name & at least the state where they live in this Country, then they shouldn't be eligible to partake in this clubs knowledge base *nono*

Why should we support & help members who are not willing or wanting to reveal who or weather they genuinely exist

I suggest the Comm announce an "Avatar Info Content" -- "Alert Post"
Give those members a 4 week period in which to amend their Avatar Info or their Account will be suspended until amended. :!:

Is it possible to look into a Android/iPhone app even? Might be too expensive or difficult at this stage but throwing it out there

atm were looking at maybe upgrading the image uploader and the site to php3, this current source code is nothing but add-ons and bandaid fixes.

hopefully that will fix the android/apple app. if not we`ll look further into it, we think its very important to the future of the club.

no one is uploading images for one thing cos its a PITA compared to FB.

Upgrading the image uploader is essential plus ccj needs to save the pictures so they aren't lost if removed from the original source

I agree with the images... Too often a tutorial is ruined on a forum because the image has been deleted. If we're talking about premium perks maybe make the image hosting premium only. I know most people would pay just for the ease of use. As we know sever space also costs money...
