help with laptop via hdmi to tv

And if all this fails buy a cheap thumb drive and put the movie/TV show you want to watch straight onto that and plug it into the USB on the back of the tellie which is pretty much what you said you were going to do.

I have a 320gb external that I plug into the back of the tellie and whenever I get anything new on my laptop I just transfer it over to watch it.

Make sure u have the hdmi cable plugged into the right hdmi socket in the tv. I have an lg full hd tv and I run my computer through my tv. From memory only one of the hdmi inputs can be used for pc's;)
