All in time, I'm just weighing up between options.

@mark: - won't suit mine - I don't have the depth on the 'podlets' on my front bar - they are only about 1/3 the depth of a VRX (and I don't want to put the VRX pods on mine anyway - I don't want it to look like something it isn't - hence no carbon-fibre vinyl anywhere).

@mark & stacey: - a bottle of water in a cooler sleeve...

@Ilija: - I get very upset if anything happens to my car... even more so if I find the b@st@rd that did it!!! And thanks for the feedback - it's appreciated; I see so many really well-presented, nicely modded cars on here, I want to do something myself.

Yeah, but look at your car Tomo - there's not much needs doing to it...

...maybe a couple of My Family stickers on the rear windscreen?

@john: - lol!

It's Custom too mate - got rid of the stock cooler in the first week!!

:-D

Hey MeatyStix - there's a guy I see occasionally on the Pac. Mwy heading down to the GC who has his entire window covered - dad's shooting up, mum's being sp!t-roasted, the kids are... well, I can't really say, but you get the idea!

.
.
Saturday afternoon and the weather's cr@ppy (my fault for washing the car this morning), so I thought I'd tally-up everything I've spent so far on the car...

(bear in mind I picked up my new ES on 31/12/13, so I've had it less than a month)

And the grand total is:

da-dada-da da-da-da daaaaa!

five thousand and ten dollars!!!

Yeah, I know... staggering!

The good news is that I've clawed back $2390 by selling the bits I replaced and I've got roughly another $700 to get back on the remainder (go onto GumTree folks and help me out!!!).

Mind you, for what will eventually work out as around two grand I'll have added:

VRX wing (OEM)
side skirts
rear diffuser
outlander 18" VRX wheels & brand-new (but not great) tyres
LX head unit (new - cost me a case of xxxx)
tweeters
factory mats, headlight protectors & seat covers
reversing sensors (third-party)
window tint
vinyl wrap on the roof, bonnet and front bar

Now, tell me who's this month's buy-swap-and-sell king!!!

:-D

Thanks Mark!

It's easy to get carried away with these Lancers - I've had the same discussion a couple of times this week: "it's like being eighteen again, with your first car; looking at everything you can do with it..."

Diffuser should arrive late next week, so once that's fitted it'll be a mild exhaust mod...

After a month of waiting on parts to arrive, I finally installed my new head unit.

Yeah I can, it's not so much about the gash, more the fact they gave me such a hard time. Anyways all installed now
