Things I never knew I needed for my Lancer...

Postby Zaphod » Sat Mar 22, 2014 2:54 pm

I've found a bundle of "add-on's" for Lancers recently on eBay, many of which are just weird. If you find any, please post them for the benefit of your fellow ClubCJ members!

Here's the most recent one I found today - never knew I needed one of these:

Akram pointed me to these a couple of days ago:

Yep. It's a quiet day in The House Of Zaphod... :-)

Imagine explaining those to your friendly Highway Patrol [s]b-stard[/s] Officer! (mind you, wouldn't mind a set myself!)

If you see a blue ES going down the freeway at wildly varying speeds with lots of bits of ribbon taped to the rear windscreen, there's a fair possibility it's me...

*peace*

I was gunna suggest a Chevy bowtie - but this has about as much to do with Mitsubishi as Commodores with the Chevy badges:

The CJ Lancer is built on the Mitsubishi GS platform, also known as Project Global - a joint venture of Mitsubishi with the Chrysler Group. Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler etc. parts division is otherwise known as Mopar (Motor Parts) - hence, it would be just as legit for a Mitsubishi to sport Mopar decals as Commodores to sport the Chevrolet bowtie.
