IT never ceases to fascinate me how Australian drivers cannot reverse and back into all kinds of things BUT the kicker here is that they still refuse to install reverse parking sensors.

It really boils down on poor driver education. Everything is centred on a far-from-perfect rule book. For most people, it's enough to pass the licence test and not bother about other important stuff. The book doesn't teach things like how to park properly or avoid an accident. No wonder 9/10 cars have gutter rash. And for those money-hungry weasels, why don't you fine improperly parked vehicles instead?

Gutter rash can be cause by many things. I have gutter rash on my wheels for two reasons. 1: I missed judge the distance of the gutter due to poor concentration. 2: I was cut off inside an undercover carlot where i had to either rish scraping the gutters (this happened) or let the idiot in the other car damage the whole side of my car..... Gutter rash is the least of our problems on Aus roads. but 9/10 is a big claim :P

Gave it a wash and wax with the Meguiars stuff. Also did the tyres and tried wax and grease remover to remove the left over glue on the Mivec badge, but didnt make much of a difference. Installed some festoon LED's as well that my mate had lying around spare.

Also noticed someone hit my car.. nice scratch near the front right side wheel well.. oh well..

I also washed and waxed... first time since purchasing the car 5 weeks ago. Kind of wished I did my usual and just go to the local car wash cafe and enjoyed a coffee while someone else did it. Cos now I'm acutely aware of all the little scratches, dents, and areas of imperfections on the car. Ignorance was bliss... I was happy not knowing all the flaws.
