EOI Fraser coast road trip to see members

Postby turbogirl » Sat Apr 09, 2016 6:46 am

We have a few members that frequently travel long distances however, I think the award has to go to Curtis / XCeazy for longest distance traveled and continued dedication.

Lets ban together and return the dedication, perhaps we could stop and see a few members on the way (like a congo line lol) do some fun things.

So I call ROAD TRIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but there's more............

Perhaps do a car version of an amazing race / challenge, working out puzzles or completing tasks and challenges. I did this once as a team building exercise in Brisbane CBD through a company, it was great fun though being a competitive bunch and summer I suffered heat stroke for next 4 days however we climb Kangaroo point cliffs, talked a poker chip out of someone in the Casino, Sang in the mall, ate a pickled egg (and I ate two as one team member had egg allergy ;-(), got a receipt for a pint of Guinness from the (cant remember name of the Irish pub New Farm end of the Valley on Brunswick st). We could allocate certain $$ for each team or car, if you can get inventive and talk your way round things for nothing you have more $ at the end which could see you win.

EG a selfie of you and your car at the big pineapple, ride the xx ride at Aussie Land, etc etc I've got a wild imagination I'm sure I wouldn't run out of ideas!! get a photo of a random cj and owner with yours, recruit a new cj member

Those that know me know I can talk (and my mother even more), I can be very annoying and persuasive, perhaps the real estate agent in me coming out crossed with a big dash of cheekiness I don't know. I can and have twice in my life talked my way (and a Hen out on a Hen's night) into a fire truck with the fireman for photos, my best friend dared me the other week, I even got the fire hat on  and NO Mitch didn't let me in the fire truck, it was spontaneous. So it may be fair to say as I'm Exec Team and would have organised the tasks that I'm not on anyone's team. Dam ;-( better add a task, find jade and bring her a black coffee lol

That would be awesome! I'm super keen. I would even drive South a bit just to join in on the road trip ;)

Also, hope you are having a blast in Tassy Jade and Sal! :D

Let me know if you have any questions about stuff up here (places to eat, park, photo spots etc)

Going to Adelaide in a few weeks, not that it's an invitation as I'm driving my parents and there will be frequent stops inland following Newell Hwy.

Curtis, Tassie has been amazing! Met some great people, loads of awesome cars and I found a top spot to video from this morning. We did get a bad flu while we were in Launceston which knocked us off our feet so we lost a couple of days but we will be back. Qlders .... The twisties are worth the drive!

I'll start planning when I get home
