Hope you had a safe trip. I have been up here over 14 months,but left the NSW plates on as I still have a home in Sydney. the local highway patrol keep bugging me to change over, but I simply say I drive to and from Sydney. Also I have been booked several times up here but haven't lost points due to having NSW plates. I checked with the RMS at tweed heads and they said they rarely chase interstate drivers being fined elsewhere. Been lucky so far. However if I decide to change to QLD plates, that could be a issue
