Lancer Xls Evo X body kit

Postby lancerXls » Mon Mar 16, 2015 9:52 pm

If i were to buy a full Evo X body kit, is it a straight bolt on or will there be some work involved? If so which parts in particular? I have read that for earlier model lancers with the rounder looking front, the front bumper requires a bit of work but nothing about the new shape.
It will be going on to a 2014 Lancer XLS.

Cheers.

theres quite a bit of work involved for the front and rear guards as an evos body is wider than a lancer, the wheel wells are a different shape, this hasnt changed for the newer lancer guards.
this probably means the skirts wont fit as well.

i think he means aftermarket bodykit, the problem is fitment
if you have a bad fitment bumper it will cause so much hassle as some members have found out in the past (myself included when i installed jess' old front bar)
tbh i really dont like the evo bodykit on a lancer as it isnt an evo but it is not my car so you can do as you like
the mars bodykits are pretty good fitment although for the same price i would get a set of rpf1s or coilovers
