Kayla and Andrew in QLD! - 3 May **UPDATED**

Due to the weather and smaller numbers I'm changing to a lunch at Drift Cafe Mt Tamborine. 12 Main Western Road, Mt Tamborine. I've been here once before and the food and coffee is amazing!

Ample safe off street parking with a great photo opportunity from the deck. Carpark is off Taylor street.

Meet point will still be Harvey Norman Browns Plains however time changed to 11.00 leave 11.15 and cruise to Drift for 12.00 lunch.

I've been asked by a few members for another Queen Mary Falls Cruise so put Sunday 3 May aside folks. Rest of the details will follow soon. Alan/Megatron will be assisting me with the planning.

Sound like a nice drive but at 3.5 hours from home it might be a bit far for me, complicated by my sisters birthday on the same day.

But I'll keep it in mind as I've very been out there. Just to make sure we're talking about the same place it's about 90 min south of Queensland Raceway right?

Where would we meet up?

Yes Craig, its just across the boarder. As Kayla and Andrew are staying at Gold Coast and we've done all nth coast cruises of late I thought we would do Queen Mary Falls.

I would have liked to do Mt Tamborine as I found a fabulous cafe there with ample parking but perhaps next time.

Been planning a drive to the Mt Tamborine area to see some of the water falls and my parents want to see where we used to live on the Gold Coast in the 80s, so two birds. Also some twisty roads just south of there so we might go down there when the weather is cooler.

Looking on Google Maps Queen Mary Falls is on the QLD side of the boarder.
