QLD Day at Movie World 30th March 2013

Just wanted to say thankyou for those who came to movie world today was a good day, weather held out well.

thankyou to KaiKat (Kyle) ,turbogirl (Jade) , MrMuppet (Eric) , Scottvt86 (Scott)

we will have to do a CCJ Day at Movie world again. Hopefully get more members and Cars.

So what was it like inside the cabin, manual tranny with drifter handbrake?

funny you should ask Al, I had CJ cards in my pocket and they guys were laughing at me!

I will load my in car video tomorrow, no sound though which is such a shame as I had the really good driver of the black Evo (Tommo) who was explaining alot as we were waiting and also as he was driving.


They don't run the Evo x engine, I believe it is the Evo 9 (ease of tuning back when the show started), manual tranny of course, real wheel drive with locked diff. They did a clutch in the second show we watched at end of day and car had to be pushed off set. Quickly fixed and show went on :-)

As my run was one of the last he gave it some extra :D No need to conserve tyres anymore! I was egging him on too. The drivers have a bit of in house competition as to who can get closest to the witches hats lol

Strange feeling being on two wheels. I'm glad to say they don't practice two wheelling in Mitsubishi's but in VN Commodores, No EVO's were hurt in training lol :P

No my so called CJ friends laughed at me lol not the stunt driver

It is odd they give you a all you can buffet lunch that would put Sizzler to shame. Now I have strong stomach and don't get giddy but I was thinking a lot of people don't!!!

I didn't get around to asking him what he drove in his spare time :-( next time
