Window tint Sydney

Just wondering where others have taken their car to have their windows tinted in Sydney. Also how much did you pay?

I'm looking to match the privacy glass on the vrx + clear uv film for the back.

Try Mr.Cool out penrith way, his mobile as well. Think I paid $220 for 20% all round, with you already having the privacy glass, I would imagine it would be cheaper :)

I went to Mr Cool as well. Really good work. $230 i think...including glare strip for 15% no questions asked. Yes...its illegal and he warns you and wont give a receipt.

Similar story. Went to a place on the northern beaches NSW, as they did 3M film and I wasn't going to settle for any other brand crap film...
Cash in in hand $100, no receipt, no warranty, don't tell where you got it from. :lol: - $100 was for the 2 front at 20% - that was over 3 years ago. No idea how much prices have shifted since.

Yes, because there are brainless idiots out there who take no responsibility for their own decisions, and try and blame the tinter. Yeah, sure the tinter forced you to put the defectable tint on... pfft.
Hence all this cloak and dagger crap. Tinter's have to protect themselves from these clowns.

I think the privacy glass is 5% or even lower, if you want the fronts to match you'd want to go as dark as you're comfortable... 15-20% seems to be popular range. 5% looks very obviously defectable/too dark, and also a hazard at night.

I had clear film applied on all privacy glass panels on mine, to prevent smash & grabs.

I don't know if the image link will work. My 35% tint, can see right through the fronts.

I forgot to mention that I got a reciept off mr.cool for 20% and a warranty, was about 2 years ago ,things may have changed since then.

I got 20% tint all round done by Show Me Your Tints, however i need to get it redone due to my stupid window rubbers scratching them all up (minus the rear window)

I went solar tint in blacktown just for the two front windows cost me $220 for 20%

Sent my mum martin from groundzero tint blacktown she got all the windows done on her outlander for $200
I'll be getting mine re done with him too.
He's heaps good wish I went there in the first place
