Can someone in NSW call the Police to find out if they were CJ Lancers?
Link to the Police report is here.
The officer in charge is Inspector Chris Schilt and you can reach him
here.
You can just ask him for the model of the Lancers. We don't need to know plates nor rego if its private.
Tell him you're part of a Lancer Car Club and need to take action against members caught illegally racing.
I really hope it's NOT one of us... .

I respect your POV.
I'm concerned that if the person or persons is a member here and was carrying a CCJ sticker on his car while this happened.
I am of the belief that if this was the case, we have to publicly disown this member and ban them from the site.

"Police will allege a radar check revealed the vehicles reached a speed of 140km/h before they were stopped.
The street is a signposted 70km an hour zone."

Since when did club CJ become Judge, Jury and Executioner?
I am aware of the clubs stance on stuff like this but I think we have to let the police and the courts do their job on this one 1st.
Unfortunately we don't have the full facts and only the persons directly involved will have them (including the police).
I personally prefer the innocent until proven guilty approach.
Cheers
John
