It's so simple but really effective, looks much tougher!

Cheers! Yeah it's super simple and cheap to do, I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking to add a subtle sportiness to their bumper.

would just painting it black be a lot cheaper and last longer. No peeling off. Harder to get back to normal I suppose.

This is why I wanted a white CJ but ended up with a black one LOL
So on black I was thinking of flat black for the bottom bit when I can afford to get a diffuser or go all out with an EVO bumper.
Anyone got a black CJ with something like this?

Wondering if the heat from the exhaust tip, would affect vinyl just above it?

Looks awesome. Really want the OEM diffuser though... Can't find any local sellers + the ones from the states on eBay are hella expensive.
Might consider this instead!

There are several different diffusers on eBay in AU.
This one for less than $200 before painting/install.

This one for $250.

To this one for about $350.

Of course you could also replace the whole rear bumper for an EVO X style one but they can cost anywhere up to $1600 before painting or fitting.

All above are sold in Australia, some can be picked up locally if you live near by and shipping isn't that expensive.
I do agree painting is way cheaper, can of paint and a few hours time.

If painting. Might like to try ie: vertical raised sections using glued on say rubber strips or whatever under painted area for added effect!

Thanks Craig.
I'm after these ones 'https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQp5CFiLB1ysw1NIh29ycxN7xwn2nT7qEqn7T5QKzfaCFzy0cHwMxtlAaSU'
Love the simple look. I believe they go for about 150-300 on eBay including shipping.
