Our record breaking entrance meet had 22 or 23 odd CJs and that was a cruise ;)

Since we are setting rules that must be met for how event and cruise records are measured, I will post up a few pre-requisites that must be adhere'd to in order to claim victory over the record recently set by CCJ QLD.

1. We are not a biased group of people. All cars attending a CCJ QLD event will be counted. Not a particular type, colour, shape, make, model, member, or non-member. As long as they have come along to specifically attend the CCJ event, they will be counted. Every attendee is either a member, or potential member and as such should be treated the same. We should also not discourage long term members who no longer own a Lancer.

2. Meeting up before a cruise is not a separate event, it is the one event. If there is a Mini-Meet on its own that is a Mini-Meet. If there is a cruise that has cars meeting before hand, that is a cruise. There is no way you can get people to attend a cruise as a rolling battalion of CJ's on the highway, and making this two separate counts is just as stupid as telling people who attend that they don't count and are not important to CCJ.

3. A full day cruise with a distance of 200km or more isn't always achievable for all members. As much as everyone would love to come along, some don't have the time, some have to work, some have families that they can not leave behind, and others have personal reasons that restrict their time. As long as the person comes along SPECIFICALLY for the CCJ QLD event they will be counted. They do not have to stay all day, all they need to do is put in as much dedication as they are able to, whether it be 5 minutes or 5 hours, they still count.

4. Last, but far from least... A cruise record set in QLD, can only be beaten by starting another cruise IN QLD. Any cruise that starts from outside of QLD will be unable to beat our record. Please do understand that I see and enjoy the Irony in this rule. Being that to beat a record set in QLD, the cruise must start in QLD, therefore making any record breaking attempt, a QLD record, so it will forever remain with us :)

These rules may seem unfair, but the rules are the rules, I don't make them, I just follow them ;)

Anyone care to do a recount of total attendance from last Sunday? :)

Many lol's FFEEkY :) :) :) :) :P :P :P :P

what are u going on about keith?

17 or 20 or 22 isnt a qld record
on the 22nd of feb. 2010 we had 23.

http://clubcj.net/viewtopic.php?t=1438&start=0

theres the records, they were all cj`s.

forget about the cockroaches whinging, they do :)

theres only 1 rule

     .............. all members, all cj`s in 1 place at 1 time

we should include all members cars yep, but atm thats not the contest.

so i am suggesting we allow sam to include all members cars, which will of course mean that NSW gets a higher record still, but we can have an even playing field.

Well all up then we had 20 CJ's, 2 EVO 9s? 2 Magnas? and an RX7

meaning thats at least 25 cars so we win.

And the record is set in QLD so unless the NSW meet started in Tweed Heads it doesn't count!
