Hi Anthony - Peanut, Sunday 16th sounds good since many of us work on Saturday and would'nt make otherwise.

As peanut mentioned, I did suggest the car park at the end of Prince of Wales Drive, there's a small park that overlooks the shipping lanes leading out of the bay.

Its kind of "out of sight" of public view and safe in terms of being told to move-on as has happened at the last two meets at Olympic Park.

Initially I PM'd Anthony to read my ECU for RPW Re-Flashing, so I'm assuming he will be doing this at this meet.

If anyone prefers or wishes to nominate an alternative venue other than my suggestion, then please advise or post-up for Anthonys consideration.

Cheers: Sam

Hey Anthony/Sam -
I will be in Orange visiting my Grandaughter for her birthday and will be seeing my son who rolled his car yesterday (Roo #2!)
Sadly I will be too far away but I will be there in spirit,
Have a great cruise guys, and I 'll catch up soon.

I should be around the area too. I might be doing a shoot for some S15s. If they bail out, I'll should still be able to come.

Got an economics report due on the following Monday... but should be easy to bs lol

Did some shots there before.

La Perouse is another spot to go to in case cop/security gets annoyed.

Oh and that motion shot... I need a rig set. I was testing one out... thinking of getting one soonish :D

Hi Tenchi, havn't seen you in ages, since the first Homebush Olympic Park Meet last year.

It would be great if you could come a shoot the new members cars, I'm sure they would feel very welcomed after seeing your photographic expressions of their cars posted on ClubCJ.

As for LaPreouse, thats a place I would definitely stay away from as a group. The Local Council acting on Police endorsments has installed huge locked gates across the road to prevent mass gatherings of car hoons on weekends and week-nights.

The gates only open during certain day-light hours to the public and even then you often see Police doing routine observation patrols just in case car hoons begin to congregate.

Even the many Restaurant & Eatery Business's that operate in the area will contact the Police at the sight of associated car gatherings.

I know ClubCJ members are not "Hoons", but unfortunately the Public Perception of certain car gatherings is negative and hence we are often "Tarred with the same Brush".

Port Botany at the extreme end of the Container Terminal still seems to be an "Out of Sight" place which doesn't attract much public and or police.

I've been there many times on weekend mornings, and the most obvious appearence are pro-cyclists doing their training runs.

Cheers: Sam

PS: "Hope to see more members in attendance to greet our newer members"

Hey guys how long is everyone planning to stay? I might be a lil late as I'm coming in from the parents house. Also note I think there is a half marathon on that day in the city so expect plenty of road closures (according to those huge RTA signs).
