We normally do cruises, we just haven't since before christmas as everyone has been busy. But yeah we should start organising our first cruise for the new year :D Tryg's idea sounds great :P

We've done Tambourine... Waaaaaaaaaaay to many other cars and people.

The numbers we get now are too many to do that again IMO.

T'bar Range.

Good roads. Done it before, but we can do it again! Straight and flat are boring *yawn*

As long as we lesser folk don't try to keep up with the Evo boys everybody arrives home save :)

Well Adrian, we have been North, West and South.. I don't vote for East.

Just because you guys only sit on highways... there are heaps of twisties all the way to Toowoomba. Just that the roads aren't super-glass-like and I know you townies hate the bumps.

From Amberley, there is a good route through; Rosewood, Grandchester, Laidley; Blenheim, Mt Berryman, Rockside.. on to MaMa Creek and the super twisty West Haldon (along the Gatton - Clifton Road). You can then head home via the Cunningham's highway, which itself has some nice bits.

Just not many opportunities for a high-end lunch... but there are bbq's near Haldon, in the National Park.

Map

Just a suggested route... if you just wanted spirited driving, you just turn around at Spring Creek and go back the same way!

We've never done a cruise on the highways :?

We always choose the twisty route, even to Byron! Highways are boring!

Can we move the discussion to the Cruise/Meet suggestion thread please
