That's a good price but I wonder if it's a worthwhile upgrade for performance. IIRC even though the factory one is soft/spongy, I heard it's by no means the bottleneck.

On another note, I upgraded my UICP anyway :) Came with the Injen kit.

The burnt look has nothing to do with titanium you can get steel and stainless steel to blue just the same by heating it.

yeap , ARC provides three different variants tho , the aluminium one isn't that expensive , the titanium one with the name plate is where the moneys at lol

Fortune Auto UICP , you'll have to cut your cooling plate as it sticks out when it curves down to the intercooler

There's Monster sport intercooler pipe kit aswell , very nice red color , probably be looking at 800-1000

Considering that the cheapest I've seen normal steel UICP for were around $100, the Tomei seems like a decent pricefor some engine bay bling (or rice depending on how you think about it). Also the dull grey of the Tomei is the least likely of the above to attract attention from the police. I wouldn't rate it as providing much performance differences between steel though, at least not in the range of 3 times better performance.

Out of interests, what are those 4 holes connected to the UICP for in the ARC picture?

Those 4 holes are just there for looks. No function other than that... I'm thinking of getting the greddy alloy pipes, full set, not just the UICP, which most only supply. I don't think ARC supply a FULL kit other than the two upper pipes?
I have already cut my cooling plate :) did it a while ago as I polished my stock pipe :D
